Tantaka Tinto 2021

Originating from our own vineyards, cultivated under a minimal intervention viticulture system, located in a plot in Artomaña (Arrastaria Valley). The soils are semi-deep and alluvial in nature, with a climate ranging between Atlantic and Continental, depending on the harvest.The harvest is 100% manual, using 7 kg boxes. Malolactic fermentation takes place in open 350-liter vats with gentle pump-overs. Later, aging occurs on lees in a 2,500-liter stainless steel tank for 5 months. It has an intense ruby color. On the nose, there are clear aromas of currants, sour cherries, and red cherries. Fennel, geranium, star anise, and white pepper aromas stand out, well-integrated with mineral and charcoal hints, typical of the variety. On the palate, it is silky, straightforward, and fresh, persisting with the aromas detected in the nasal phase, along with notes of aromatic herbs, minerals, and charcoal.
