Land with volcanic matrix in soil with a mixture of sand, clay, basalt, and granite. Very permeable. Agriculture without the use of tractors. Fermentation in wooden cones with 50% whole clusters, 4 weeks of maceration. Aging in used barrels for 10 months, followed by 10 months in concrete and an additional 10 months in the bottle.
Grape: Schiava (Vernatsch).
