It comes from an old vineyard at the entrance to Villafranca del Bierzo, with a slight slope and sandy soils at the bottom and decomposed black slate and more decomposed minerals at the top.
Quality organic viticulture. Green pruning and weeding are carried out sparingly. Powdered sulphur and copper treatments are also carried out.
100% destemmed grapes are used, with skin contact and 5-day maceration. It is then pressed and fermented with indigenous yeasts.
It's a light-colored wine with an intense scent of strawberries and raspberries.
Fresh and elegant on the palate, with a refreshing acidity. Delicious tannins and sweet fruit.
Grape varieties: 60% Mencia, 40% other (Golello, Doña Blanca, Palomino, Malvasia, Merenzão, etc.)
