It comes from old vines from various plots in Corullón planted between 1930 and 1940.
The mineral richness of Corullón allows us to speak of metamorphic soils of slate, quartzite, sandstone and clay, as well as various limestone materials, among other minerals.
Altitude of 650 to 900 meters.
Quality organic viticulture. Green pruning and weeding are carried out sparingly. Powdered sulphur and copper treatments are also carried out.
Partial destemming of the bunches. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation
Malolactic fermentation takes place spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in conical vats.
It has generous fruit, silky tannins and a dry, tasty finish that makes it excellent in gastronomic combinations. It has abundant, slightly peppery tannins and a dry finish.
Grape varieties: 85% Mencia, 15% others (Golello, Doña Blanca, Palomino, etc.)
