Godello Viñas Viejas Blanco 2022

From various plots in Valtuille de Abajo. Old vineyard planted in 1960.
Vineyard located on one of the slopes of Valtuille de Abajo, with fine sandy soils and small traces of black slate at the top.
Quality organic viticulture. Green pruning and weeding are carried out sparingly. Powdered sulphur and copper treatments are also carried out.
100% destemmed grapes are used. It is pressed on the same day as the harvest to preserve all the freshness of the grapes. Once pressed, the must is transferred directly to French oak barrels of various uses, where it ferments spontaneously. It does not undergo malolactic fermentation.
A dry, complex wine reminiscent of something between a Jura wine and Chablis. Smoky and flint aromas. In the mouth, hints of lemon peel and green apple.
