Becarre Rouge 2021

An easy-to-drink red wine made from Cabernet Franc grapes. Originating from 40-year-old vineyards in clay and flinty soil with limestone bedrock. Fermented with indigenous yeast, two weeks of maceration, and slow and delicate extraction. Maceration and fermentation in cement vats. Aged in barrels for 9 months. Light filtration with a terracotta filter. The final result is a rich wine with structure, but it deviates slightly from the vegetal character of the grape variety. A indulgent and highly gastronomic wine. Potential for aging for 5 to 7 years. Open one hour before serving.
